A balanced diet, rich in nutrients and low in fat, sugar and sodium can set a child on a positive growth track both mentally and physically. Adding at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity to a child's schedule will reduce the risk of obesity and other diseases. Physical activity can benefit not only the body but also the mind by reducing feelings of anxiety, stress and depression.
